Indoor Pool
RPP's Fitness and Aquatics Center features an indoor heated pool as well as a whirlpool/spa.

Our Fitness and Aquatics Center gives residents one more reason to "feel good" about living at Roland Park Place!

Designed by Cochran, Stephenson & Donkervoet and connected to the main building, this stunning 6,600 square foot facility features an indoor heated pool, a Jacuzzi, changing areas and restrooms, an open-space exercise area, a fitness equipment area, and a program director and manager’s office.

The Fitness and Aquatics Center—with state-of-the-art equipment, expanded hours and a greater variety of classes and exercise options—will enhance existing health promotion and therapeutic programs.

The pool is used not only for swimming, but by those who want to enjoy the soothing, relaxing and therapeutic benefits of water exercise, such as water walking, water aerobics and water yoga.

Complementing the state-of-the -art Fitness and Aquatics Center, Roland Park Place also offers fitness and aquatic classes 6 days a week which address senior-specific issues such as balance, strength acquisition, arthritis, osteoporosis and cardiovascular endurance.

Every resident can enhance the quality of his or her life at Roland Park Place through regular land-based or water exercise. Health benefits include prevention of certain diseases, decreasing the risk of falls and strokes, improved sleep, decreased blood pressure, increased flexibility and range of motion, soothing painful joints, strengthening and relaxing muscles, and improving mood and general well-being.
